Enchanting magic teaches a caster how to influence the mind and emotions of a subject. With emotion spells, a skilled enchanter can make victims fall in love, or succumb to overwhelming terror. With mind spells, an enchanter can read minds, erase thoughts and completely rewrite memories.

Enchanters can weave illusions, making themselves appear as virtually anyone. They are also the masters of counter magic. Their Dispels are quicker, and less tiring to cast. At the highest levels of mastery, enchanters can see hidden magic, communicate telepathically, or even outright overload a victim’s mind.

Enchanting magic doesn’t function in armor, even light armors. This makes its lack of physical defensive spells an even greater liability.

This magical school is not shown during Citadel of the Fallen. Instead of detailing it prematurely, I’ll wait until Gathering the Fallen is released. Enchanting magic is far more prevalent in that book.
