One of the most advanced spells, Gather allows a caster to siphon magical energy from one or more willing targets. In simple terms, Gather lets a caster borrow power from others. In Citadel of the Fallen, Ciderhorn summons a particular Succubus as part of the assault on the Citadel. He uses Gather to borrow her (considerable) power and uses that to fuel the other Summoning spells he casts.
